If you are having difficulty burning tracks and you do not get a specific error message, review this page for possible solutions.
Make sure you initiate your burn from within Napster or Windows Media Player 9 Series. Other software applications are capable of burning to CD, but are not supported by Napster.
The Roxio CD burning software used by Napster supports most standard CD burners.
To see if your burner is
on Roxio's compatibility list, go to:

If you have a new CD RW that is not on the list, check back in the near future as Roxio updates this list frequently.
If you are having problems burning from Napster or Roxio Easy CD Creator, one thing you can do is check Roxio's site for software updates.
If you are using Roxio
Easy CD Creator, check for any updates

Sometimes it takes the burn process a while to initiate. Additionally, if any of the tracks you are burning need to be downloaded, this has to occur before the burn process begins. All this preparation for burning can take time. Please be patient after starting the burn process. Canceling the burn process too quickly can abort an otherwise successful burn.
It is best not to download, stream, or run other CPU intensive applications while you are burning as this increases the possibility that the burn process could fail.
If your burn is unable to complete, try the following tips the next time you burn tracks:
Avoid multi-tasking and using other applications while burning
Burn at a lower speed
Consider a different brand of CD-Rs
Disable screen savers and ALL power management
Do not record from a compressed drive
Log off all network connections
